Children’s Corner

Create your own advent wreath with whatever you have around the house and light your candles at home as we light them in the service. Check out some ideas here and send us a photo of what you come up with!

Advent Alphabet: This year, Advent is exactly 26 days long, one day for each letter of the alphabet! This activity helps us remember the story of that first Christmas and how Christians around the world have celebrated since! Think of a word related to Advent or Christmas that starts with the letter of the day and draw a picture to match. You can use this template or create your own. Some letters can be pretty tricky, so check back here each week to see what words we’ve come up with!

Discussion & Application

Think of a hopeless situation in your life, church or society . . .

. . . consider how Jesus would bring hope . . .

. . . and ask that Jesus would come.
